A Streetcar Named Desire

Blanche Dubois depends on the kindness of strangers and is adrift in the modern world. When she unexpectedly arrives to stay with her estranged sister Stella in a boisterous, crowded corner of New Orleans, she brings with her a past that will threaten their future.

Her delusions of grandeur frustrate Stella’s crude, brutish husband Stanley. As he stalks closer to the truth, Blanche’s fragile sense of identity begins to crumble, until one violent act changes all of their lives for forever.
