About this event
Described by Blindboady Boatclub as “Ireland’s answer to Martin Luther King,” Bernadette Devlin McAliskey joins historian and podcaster Donal Fallon to discuss her long and storied career at the coal face of Civil Rights activism.
For this special one-off event, Bernadette recalls the music and song which served as the soundtrack to her life, from the folk songs of her native Lough Neagh to the ballads of the Bogside barricades, with live performances from special musical guests. Guests include: Niall Hanna, Tommy Sands, Donal Fallon, plus more to be confirmed.
Readers are advised to check with the organiser before relying on the details published here.
