The Civic Theatre and Bitter Like A Lemon are proud to present a work-in-progress reading of their most ambitious play to date.

Angels of Mercy is a new play by Lee Coffey that explores assisted suicide, cult mentality and the dangers of unresolved trauma. Delving into the world of euthanasia through the lens of a broken and fractured family. Traversing this polarising and divisive topic that many think is too taboo to discuss, let alone explore.

Secrets, trauma and legality all collide in the next explosive play to hit the Irish stage.
