Are Ya Dancin'? - A Showband Story

For a limited run, the smash hit musical play ARE YA DANCIN’? – A Showband Story, written by Carol Gleeson & Helen Spring, makes its’ highly anticipated national debut at 3Olympia Theatre this summer from Tuesday 27th to Saturday 31st of August (including matinees). The show features a treasure trove of memorable hits to make you “shake, rattle and roll”.

Set in Donegal in the 1960’s golden era of music, the story follows Tommy O’Neill, who finds himself at the helm of an up-and-coming showband. As his star rises, he struggles both professionally and personally against the restrictive backdrop of the societal expectations of 1960’s Ireland.
