About this event

This summer, join one of their free drop-in workshops in the National Museum of Ireland- Archaeology!

What was life like in Ireland during the Bronze Age? Meet with Museum educators in the Ór - Ireland's Gold exhibition to see and handle a collection of replica artefacts from Bronze Age Ireland, and discover what objects people were making and using at this time. See an Early Bronze Age axehead, a bronze spearhead, amber beads, and clay pots.

If you would like to find out more about Prehistoric and Bronze Age Ireland, check out the Museum's Prehistoric Ireland exhibition and Ór - Ireland's Gold, or their range of resources for at home or in the classroom in their Museum at Home section.

No booking required. Located in Ór - Ireland's Gold exhibition, Ground Floor. Wheelchair accessible. This workshop is for families.
