Inspired by the book, Manual for Mustard Seed Garden, in the Chester Beatty’s collection, join Chinese Dutch artist Hoi-Shan Mak for a master class in ink painting.

Let’s consider what makes a difference between a common line or a group of dots and an extraordinary stroke that creates grass, a butterfly, or a mountain. We will paint the natural world using only the necessary strokes and colours.

Limited to 15 participants. €50 per person, all materials provided. Booking essential.
