About this event
This concert is unique by featuring the Irish Premieres of works by two of the great living choral composers – Ola Gjielo’s ‘Dreamweaver’ and the ‘Winter’ from Jake Runestad’s Cello Songs.
The Guinness Choir will be joined by the Leinster String Quartet together with Anthony Byrne, piano and Mairéad Buicke, Soprano.
You will be charmed by Anthony Byrne’s sensitive touch on the piano, the astonishing clarity of Mairéad Buicke’s voice and the warm sound of the Leinster String Quartet all enhanced in St .Patrick’s Cathedral’s wonderful acoustic. The concert will embrace you in a cloak of subtle, warm and comforting seasonal music.
