EMPOWER: Women Changing Music

EMPOWER: Women Changing Music is an initiative dedicated to promoting fairness and gender equality within the music industry. EMPOWER are thrilled to be hosting their first ever Irish event at RIAM, after great success in the UK, in celebration of International Women’s Day. Through a rich program of live music and insightful dialogue, EMPOWER highlights the impact women are having on the music industry, both creatively and professionally, while fostering an environment of collaboration and change.

Featuring short musical performances from chamber ensembles, and the world premiere of the inaugural OpusHER commission, this event has something for everyone. Music has the power for change, and EMPOWER invites you to be a part of this movement.
