Designed to involve visitors of all ages, join in for a family-friendly tour of the National Print Museum's working collection and get the chance to make your own poster and printer's hats!

Travel back in time to experience what it was like to be a young apprentice printer. Learn about Johannes Gutenberg, the inventor of the printing press, and how newspapers, books and posters were created before the arrival of today’s computers. Discover what printing has to do with the Titanic, the Irish Easter Rising, and various sayings that we still use today. Hand-set your name and print a poster to take home, and make your very own printer’s hat!
