Portmarnock Resort & Jameson Golf Links
Things to see & doGolf
The coastline immediately north of the city centre has some wonderful courses, including St Anne’s and Royal St Dublin, Ireland’s second-oldest golf course. Further north again is one of the world’s top-rated courses at Portmarnock, which has a stunning location on Portmarnock peninsula and was the first host of the Irish Open in 1927. It’s not to be confused with nearby Portmarnock Hotel & Golf Links, a much younger course that offers an equally stiff challenge. Dublin’s collection of public courses also includes an outstanding links at Corballis, on the coast at Donabate in the north of the county.
