Be sure to check the vehicle properly before driving away and remember that all companies will charge extra if you drop the car off in a different place to where you picked it up.

Remember to greet passing drivers on small country roads (it’s pretty much obligatory, though sometimes a raised thumb will do) – and don’t forget to stick to the left-hand side at all times!
