About this event
St Brigid's bank holiday is an opportunity to celebrate women of Ireland. What better way than to have 2 plays about great Irish women. Hanna Sheehy Skeffington was a famous campaigner for women's right to vote and to access education. Hanna herself was one of the first women to graduate. Madame Markiewicz is world famous for her role in the 1916 rising and the emergence of an independent Ireland.
