Lunar New Year Community Celebration

Join in the celebration of the Lunar New Year, taking place on Hill Street in Dublin 1 from 14:00 to 19:00 on Sunday 11 February 2024 to ring in the Year of the Dragon! Brought to you by the Hill Street Family Resource Centre in collaboration with the North East Inner City initiative, this FREE family-friendly fun event will showcase live performances from South-East Asian communities, as well as traditional interactive workshops.

The event will host a wide range of entertainment from food and drama to Tai Chi, Origami and Calligraphy. There are delights for everyone as a variety of workshops and traditional performers, including children from Hill Street Family Resource Centre’s Cultural Dance Group, take over this central Dublin Street.
