Following the success of her 2021 album — the much-lauded H.R. — the artist has been steadily releasing a string of self-directed video singles leading up to the release of her third studio album (TBC) Meljoann’s production skills have been compared to Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis; and her vocals to Janet Jackson and SWV.

While these compliments are fitting, Meljoann is a unique artist in a genre-sphere of her own design. Meljoann writes, performs, produces and masters all her own music. She also directs and stars in all her own videos, using green screen technology and computer game engines, and creates all the visuals for her captivating live shows.
