William Shakespeare wrote ‘Othello’ (the Moor of Venice) around 1603. Set in Venice and Cyprus, the play depicts the Moorish military commander Othello, who is manipulated into suspecting his wife Desdemona has been unfaithful. The Tragedy unfolds.
