Did you know David Bowie’s ancestors hailed from county Tipperary? Or that he had a lifelong interest in the work of Irish writers and artists like Samuel Beckett and Jack B. Yeats?

As part of this year’s David Bowie festival, EPIC The Irish Emigration Museum and the Irish Family History Centre will explore how migration shaped the life and work of this iconic singer, songwriter, musician, and actor and to what extent his connections to Ireland and Irish culture influenced his career.
