About this event
It is the summer 1914. The world is on the brink of catastrophe. In London, 26-year-old Venetia Stanley is having a love affair with the Prime Minister, H. H. Asquith, a man more than twice her age. He writes to her obsessively, sharing the most sensitive matters of state.
Alex Clark is a British literary journalist and editor who has written for The Guardian, The Observer and The Times Literary Supplement. She also presents Front Row on BBC Radio 4 and hosts the TLS Podcast about books.
Tickets €31 (+ booking fee) incl. signed book.
