Drop in to Reception at the National Museum of Ireland- Decorative Arts & History on Sunday, 4 February to learn about the history of design by and for women through a selection of remarkable objects.

The objects in this drop-in handling session explore design by and for women. The stories of prominent designers like Eileen Gray, Neillí Mulcahy, and Irene Gilbert will feature alongside the histories of crafts traditionally practiced by female makers and the genres of designed objects that populated women's lives through time.

Hands-on History: Of Their Own Time will take place in Reception on Sunday, 4 February from 13:00 to 15:00. Come and go as you please!
