Summer Lunchtime Concert with RTÉ Concert Orchestra & Ava Dodd

With Stakionis at the helm, the RTÉ Concert Orchestra will perform classical overtures such as Beethoven’s Coriolan Overture and Strauss’ Die Fledermaus Overture, as well as Janáček’s bittersweet, evocative Adagio for orchestra, JW 6/5.

Winner of the Yves Paternot Prize at the 2023 Verbier Festival and of the Boston District Met Opera/ Laffont Competition, Irish soprano Ava Dodd, will join the Orchestra for Qui la voce from Bellini’s I Puritani, Vilja from Lehár’s Die Lustige Witwe, and The Jewel Song from Gounod’s Faust.
