About this event
The novel phenomenon of men who are “involuntarily celibate” and who feel entitled to sex is not just awful, but actually quite funny. The plot follows another day in their lives when it is discovered that one of their members, Cuckboy, has slept with a woman who then invades their meeting and begins to challenge their ideology and shake their bond. What if women are just people after all?
This play takes an abstract, digital mire of hate and misogyny and makes it into living, breathing bodies, allowing us to see these men for who they are. Not to legitimise the actions of the incels but to allow us to see what has led them down this path. And maybe in so doing, find a way to lead them out of it.
