Quincy Jones, who turned 90 last year, has had an extraordinary career spanning over 70 years. In a show packed with classics, the music will include Fly Me to the Moon, Soul Bossa Nova, In the Heat of the Night & On Days like These, Come Fly with Me

The concert will draw from Quincy Jones’ role as a composer for The Italian Job, In the Heat of the Night, The Colour Purple and The Wiz. It features music from the award-winning albums he produced that broke sales records, as well as music from his own solo albums like Walking in Space, Big Band Bossa Nova and Smackwater Jack.

Guy Barker – himself a member of his band – helms this birthday tribute by the RTÉ Concert Orchestra and a stellar line-up of vocalists.
