National Galleries of Scotland’s Vaughan Bequest of J.M.W Turner’s Watercolours will go on display at the National Gallery of Ireland for the first time in January 2025. Join them for an immersive weekend of painting course.

In conjunction with this unique exhibition, Michelle Boyle, a renowned contemporary artist, will lead a weekend painting course designed to delve into Turner's techniques. Participants will explore how Turner’s mastery of light, colour, and natural phenomena can be applied to their own work.

This immersive workshop will be an excellent opportunity for participants to deepen their understanding of Turner's methods while developing their own artistic skills.
